Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is all about allowing users contribute to the internet with no need for technical knowledge. In the case of the “Blinklist” this kind of website is much more suited to the Web 2.0 format because it allows multiple users to edit it without having to access the HTML code.

If the “Blinklist” was only able to be updated by editing the HTML code it would require all the users to have knowledge of HTML and would require them to download the source of the page, edit it, then upload it again whenever they wanted to make a change. Web 2.0 takes away the need for this,

Websites like Blinklist, blogs, etc make the web a much more user friendly place where the sites are driven by user contribution.
